Kurleigh serves as Executive Officer Technology & Engineering at the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, with responsibility for frequency and equipment licensing, radio spectrum and broadcasting system planning, technical standards development, technical regulation of networks including numbering administration and telecommunications, radiocommunications and broadcast monitoring. He has over twenty years of leadership experience in technical and general management roles in the telecommunications sector for both regulators and operators such as TSTT, Columbus Communications and Cable & Wireless Communications across various markets in the Caribbean region, including Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao, Barbados and the Windward Islands. He has held the role of inaugural Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Internet Exchange (TTIX) Limited, which formed the first two Internet exchange points in Trinidad and Tobago, and was a founding member of the Grenada Internet Exchange (GREX). Kurleigh holds a B.Sc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UWI and an M.Sc. in Telecommunications from the University of Maryland. He is an avid cricket fan and music lover, and lives with his wife Tricia and their two sons in central Trinidad.
